Governor's Challenge: Viewing Guide (Dec 26th & 27th)

The 2014 edition of the Governor’s Challenge is the biggest in the event’s 30-plus year history, as well as the largest ever in-season high school tournament in Maryland high school basketball.

With more than 50 teams in total coming from eight different states, the tournament has developed into one of the most star-studded and entertaining yearly events in the DMV basketball landscape.

Edmondson Controls Tempo Against Poly

BALTIMORE, MD - After falling into an 11-0 hole to begin the game, Poly was unable to ever put themselves together to make a run at Edmondson, whose 71-61 victory advanced them to 2-0 in City play.

Edmondson (8-1) beat Dunbar earlier in the week, while Poly’s loss marks its fourth straight and second this week, as they fell to Patterson on Tuesday.
